Marla Olmstead, MS, RDN, LDN (She/her)

I am passionate about helping clients build a relationship with food that supports both physical and mental wellbeing. My approach is grounded in the principles of Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating, with the belief that all bodies deserve nourishment, care, and respect.

I work with individuals navigating chronic conditions, disordered eating, and general health concerns. My goal is to help clients better understand how food can support their unique needs while moving away from rigid food rules and toward greater flexibility, trust, and enjoyment. While healing one’s relationship with food can be challenging, it is absolutely possible. Food serves many roles in our lives—it fuels us, supports health, fosters connection, and brings comfort and joy. Navigating nutrition can feel overwhelming, and I am here to support you in finding a more balanced and sustainable approach.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition from Boston University and completed my clinical training at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. My background includes experience in chronic disease management, including diabetes and hyperlipidemia, sports nutrition, and research. I have also worked as an eating disorder dietitian at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care, supporting clients in rebuilding their relationships with food, body, and movement.

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in compassion. I strive to meet each client where they are, using both clinical expertise and lived understanding to support meaningful, sustainable change.
